More from Chobe

Chobe River Cruise

Mini Safari at Dawn

First "animal" we saw- eaten by wild dogs.  Hyenas apparently have such a strong acid in their belly that they can eat the bones of their kill.  The elephant carcasses we saw were eaten by hyenas.

Very rare beast, apparently

honestly I saw billions of these antelope.  I could never tell which type of "bok" they were; impala, spring bok, red bok- they all look very similar

can we help you?

can you distinguish between shrubs vs baboons?  there were tons of them just prowling along

These guys were huge!  there were two females really close to us but the male with antlers was much further off

These warthogs blended in so well.  I thought they were a lion for the longest time
